Villages in the Town of Mount Pleasant

There are three villages within the geographical boundaries the Town of Mount Pleasant: the Village of Pleasantville, the Village of Briarcliff Manor and the Village of Sleepy Hollow. Each of the three villages has its own local government, included an elected board of trustees and administrative municipal offices. The villages have their own police, recreation, highway, water and building departments, tax assessors, clerks’ offices and justice courts, which are separate and apart from the Town of Mount Pleasant’s offices and departments.  The villages collect separate taxes to cover the municipal services that they provide.  Provided below are some helpful contact information and links for the three village governments within the Town of Mount Pleasant:
